Sorbara’s Urban Beehive

Our urban beehive has been thriving all year, thanks to the hard work of the bees. Yesterday, at our “Hive to Honey Jar” workshop, we got to see and learn how the bees have been busy making honey. It was finally time to harvest it. We carefully extracted the honey from the hive and jarred it, seeing the results of the bees’ hard work. Thank you to our Alveole beekeeper for this informative workshop. We left with jars of fresh honey and a deeper appreciation for the important role bees play in our urban environment.
